The LISA IOL CALCULATOR is a thick-lens formula based on ensemble learning and axial length correction. Nowadays, it provided refractive prediction for cataract patients with the following characteristics:
- LISA-Toric: for cataract patients who are scheduled for toric IOL implantation. It optimizes the refractive outcome for both predicted and measured posterior corneal astigmatism.
- LISA-PPV: for cataract patients with prior pars plana vitrectomy, including those who scheduled for combined silicone oil removal and cataract extraction. The effective lens position prediction takes into account the state of vitreous tamponade, history of scleral buckling, and intraocular lens position.
Instructions:
- Optical biometry.
- ULIB SRK/T A constant.
- Keratometry: When using the Pentacam or ASOCT for keratometry measurements, anterior corneal values at a 15° or 3 mm apex ring are recommended for this calculator.
